I saved my pennies ages ago and bought 8 X 30 min personal training sessions for Allen. He never ended up using them so I have started. My first session was today and wow - I now know how the other half lives! You get a programme that is tailed to your exact needs, and someone is there every step of the way making sure that you do all the exercises correctly with correct posture and so forth. I got advice on a whole range of things, keeping hydrated, nutrition, over heating, heat rate limits, levels of exercise in different stages of pregnancy….
I started on the bike and then did a whole lot of weight work that was for special things. Arm and back muscles so I will be able to lift bubs when she arrives, lots of core work, even using a certain muscle that it supposed to be good for breastfeeding as it holds the weight or something. We did stretching and pelvic floor exercises.
I thought it was a 30 minute session but it went for an hour, so that is ¼ of my allocation gone. I can see how there is a huge class difference in obesity and health. Anyone can reach any goals with someone holding their hand like this, no wonder the entrainment celebrities look great through out their pregnancies and loose the bulge afterwards in record time.
If I wanted to continue it would cost $585 for 10 one hour sessions. Darn. What else could one do for $58.50 an hour? That is just not feasible. I will just use up the sessions and then I’m on my own.
