eggs
Some hubbies are so over protective! The other day Allen boiled up two eggs too many for the potato salad, and left them in the fridge, with strict instructions that he may eat them later with a sandwich, but I am NOT to touch them, and am only to eat FRESH eggs.
I usually test an egg before cooking it by seeing if it will sink or float in water. This morning I was a bit clumsy and dropped an egg into a tall glass before I put the water in. It cracked. (The egg not the glass.) I said “Oh well, I can still use it as it would smell if it was bad.” Then Allen insisted that I get a new one from the fridge. He threw the cracked one out. Picky picky.
