Even though I'm doing this for my math kids, I can imagine them goggling at me if told that I watch calculus videos like this one on youtube during my leisure time.

Even more so if I tell them I actually find it pretty cool.

Breakbreakbreakbreakbreaktime. I have 5 papers to finish today, that's 10 hours worth of math. I've, uh, finished... 2. Yeah so before I go mad, I think I should give myself some breathing space. :D (Though slouching in front of the computer on a 30degree day is hardly what one would call refreshing respite. But what can you do?)

This is one of those days when I want to hide in a hole and come out next autumn.
I'm kinda worried about tomorrow. Am debating between neopets, more Robert or a disney movie.
Guess what I'm going to go for...

Yay! The weather is finally weatherable! Though I doubt that's a word. Doesn't really matter since I'm not taking English anymore (oh dear...) but ok  fine. Agreeable. Pleasant. Bearable. Fragrant. (...) My favourite all-purpose descriptor remains oily, though!

Today I remember the day I got my exam time table.
I think back on how I looked at it apprehensively but without much fear or concern, 
how I quickly told myself that the exams were eons away.

Today I recall carefully slotting my timetable into an exercise book
instead of stuffing it carelessly into the back of my organizer (as I usually do)

Second week of the holidays (get this: holidays, not term!) and I feel like I'm running out of steam.

Slightly redeemed!
Went off and watched all the special features on the howl's moving castle and the namesake DVDs I borrowed last week, they were very enjoyable. I really liked hearing the people who made the film talk about how and why they did and what spoke to them and what they tried to put across etcetc. Makes the finished product seem so much ( Read more... )
