Hello again! I hope everyone has been having a great summer (or in you're in the Southern hemisphere - a tolerable winter!) After a mini-hiatus, we're about to get started here at the Quill again with our weekly posts and challenges. Thanks to everyone who volunteered to lead a discussion this month and later on.
Since it's been awhile, I thought we would have a jam session. This is an open post for writers to discuss anything you’re currently working on/pondering/struggling with, share inspiration, offer encouragement and commiseration. Feel free to discuss anything you like, as long as it’s related to writing.
And if you are searching for something to discuss, how about titles?
1. How do you usually develop one?
2. At one point in the process do you usually find one?
3. Do you often poach from other titles/quotes from music, books, poems etc?
4. What title are you most proud of? Why?
5. What title were you never happy with? Why?
