1. I hope this Mal/Jayne summer ficathingy yields some decent shit (with length and plot omg). I'm getting tired of reading the same six stories (whine whine whine).
2. Yesterday at lunch I did the first sketch of a show flyer for the Shannon-verse, and I must say it is at least conceptually awesome (though parts of it look like they were drawn by a third-grader--go me). Not awesome at all: I was so caught up in drawing, I lost track of time and took an extra forty minutes on my half-hour lunch break. OOPS.
3. I'm going to hike (well, it's pretty flat, so maybe "walk" is a better word) the Lynn Headwaters tomorrow, heaven willing and the crick don't rise. Just up to Norvan Falls. Mmm, fourteen kilometres.
4. Seeing OOTP on Monday night. MONDAY NIGHT. SNAPE. OCCLUMENCY. I have decided I will use this icon when I post about the movie. I will never stop shipping. NEVER.
5. Related to 3, I'm going to raid MEC tonight. I need new socks, omg. And a new pocketknife.
6. I might get a suit for the 'rents' party, since my brother's going to be wearing his (it's black, as it was bought for my aunt's funeral, but we're going to go tie-shopping and get him a nice satin-finish silver tie and hankie. 'Cause we live in Richmond and we have to try to be more classy than our Valley relatives). I don't think I'll do a dress shirt and tie with it, though--a silver-grey shirt ought to do the trick.
