we carry on.

1. Also, on the No Gendered Pronouns Day thing--I hate (HATE HATE HATE) "reclaimed" or "expropriated" words where a slight change is spelling is made to signal some profound change in meaning and absolutely no change in pronunciation. For reals, people. "Mx" is a suggested neutral address (to replace "miss," "mister," etc.), and it is pronounced "miz." I think, but I'm not entirely sure, that maybe there's already an address, most definitely not gender neutral, which is pronounced this way? MAYBE JUST MAYBE THERE IS EVEN A MAGAZINE?

Because, see, the "i" in "boi" means absolutely nothing when you're talking face to face with an actual person. Neither does the "y" in "syr" (which is "sir;" don't even get me started on that one) or the various butcherings in womyn/wimmin/etthefuckcetera. These differences mean nothing because they are visual, not verbal, and human language is and always will be primarily verbal*; same reason T/this S/shit D/don't F/fly in real life kink.

Anyway. I apologise if your eyes are bleeding.

2. I don't think I did too horribly on my trainability. I did fuck up a bunch, but I followed most of the instructions given beforehand, and all of the ones given on the test itself. IDK.

3. Going to see OOTP on Sunday or Monday night, depending on whether and when the kitten wants to go. Also! I have kitten's camera in my care from HCT. So, she will have to see us if she ever wants her camera back. Mine is an evil laugh! Mwahaha!

4. Helping my mom plan the 'rents' twenty-fifth anniversary party for October. Heaven help us all. I have managed to get them a cheap DJ, though, go team me.

That is quite enough, I think.

Bye.

*Yes, folks, a writer just said written language is secondary, and it is when you're trying to communicate with someone on a face-to-face level. Like, in conversation. Which is also kind of funny, since I don't really like talking to people very much. Haha, I am a bundle of contradictions.
