I googled my username and "recs," because I am "secretly" an attention whore like that, and on someone's de.licio.us (or however it's punctuated), there's a note for "White Pony" that's like--"author has no freaking clue where Stanford is, or anything else in California."
Which is. Like. OW. I clock about the same amount of research as writing time for your average story, and. Yeah. I know the places in the story are far apart (where Dean lives>>Stanford>>San Francisco>>Golden Gate Park, etc.), and I thought I'd included more than enough indication of that.
