isn't that what love's supposed to do.

I've been reading back over past entries (like, way back; like, 2002), looking for poetry that I never put in my memories so it could be properly tagged. I found a significant amount of it, so now I don't know if I should revise the contents of the chapbook or not. Some of it is--really good.

we're still looking (January 2003)
who will care for the caretakers? (January 2003)
picking up meteorites (February 2003)
summer at the world-famous mustang ranch (February 2003)
and i'm lying to you (because i love you) (March 2003)
planet's solo & the delicate art (June 2003)
Davie St. (March 2004)

Yeah. I dunno. I mean, some of the stuff in the chapbook already is weak. Which makes it a no-brainer, right. Yeah.

I got a new coffee mug today. It is very pretty and green.

tangleofthorns wrote This Is Spinal Tap apocalypse fic: " Rough Riders (the None More Black Remix)." Have I not always said she was my hero? Yes, yes I have. Apparently it is a remix of "Rough Replacements," a Buffy apocalypse fic with Giles-crushing angst. Never read it. Anyway, this is brilliant and funny and perfect and so terribly spot-on (and David/Nigel slash, a bit, just to warn you). Somebody gets Assumed, but I won't tell who. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

Bye.

chapbook, recs
