I DIDN'T VOTE AND WHY SHOULD I

Nov 02, 2004 13:55

First I am really tired of all this talk and looking down on those who don't vote, it is our God given right in this country to vote or not. It is called choice people and I made mine. Now there is reason in my madness and one major reason is that I know that my one little vote will have no impact what so ever against the masses of other voters out there. This web site explains it a little better then I do http://slate.msn.com/id/2107240/.

I for one didn't waste my freaken time with that nonsense. And for those who always tell me that since I didn't vote that I have let others make decisions for me, you can all go to hell. If something got passed that made everyone in an uproar, do you really think they will keep that bill or law for much longer, I don't really think so. Generally the general public has the best intentions when it comes to these matters anyways. And you all have to realize one thing about our government and that is that they are here to serve us and if we are not happy with something, change will happen one way or another. And another thing, it doesn't really matter who is in office, the same things will happen as they have happened from year to year. Do you think that this election will be anything different? I certainly don't think so.
