i wonder how many times you've had sex.
not much going on the past week, just more werkin. spookies recording, and the first two songs ("ruby is real" and "sleepaway camp 3") are almost done. they are going to turn out rad. they're recorded completely on a four track and sound thick and lovely. i think the vocals just need to be finished now. they're going to be half of a split cassingle with westin (the thermals' drummer) on the flip side.
BTW, the thermals opened for weezer last week! whaaaa! and jake was on jimmy fallon last night as a jick!! cool drummers doing cool things!!
three albums that i've discovered and really like: cold fact by rodriguez, slave ambient by the war on drugs and ancient romans by sun araw. those last two are newbies. i would recommend listening to any of those. well, maybe not the sun araw album if you don't like weird instrumental stuff. but the war on drugs and rodriguez fer SURE.
now that i work at a hipster record store, you will probably see a lot more posts like this. i'm sorry.
