here is an email i just send to 94.7 FM (or KNRK or whatever the shit they call themselves these days):
Hey there,
I am a concerned citizen writing to you about your incessant playing of "Standing Outside A Broken Phone Booth With Money In My Hand" by Primitive Radio Gods. Please PLEASE stop playing that terrible song. Why are you still regularly playing that awful one hit wonder from 1996? Nobody likes that song; not now nor in 1996! I seriously don't know one person who likes that song.
I listen to 94.7 in my car maybe a total of an hour a week, yet still I find myself subjected to that terrible terrible song! I am all about 90s music and even some 90s one hit wonders, but that is NOT a good one. Why is that song still on your playlist? Did a former music director put it in there while every subsequent one just let it slide, only to torture us all in perpetuity? I really am baffled as to why that gets so much airplay.
It is just a really bad song. You cannot seriously think that people want to hear that song. Please let it die the horrible death it deserves.
