and i'm crying for yesterday?
yesterday i had jesus christ superstar practice. i really wasn't in the mood for it before leaving for hood river, but randy bell (the drummer) was there for the first time since i started practicing with the band, so i had lots of fun. even though JCS is a musical, it's still mostly rock music, which means you need fucking drums! so i had lots of fun, and it felt so much better than the last week's practices. steighner kept telling me to solo in various parts, which was rad.
when i got home, alyssa told me that ang's brother adam was in the hospital. he didn't show up to work yesterday, so someone went to his apartment and found him unconscious. apparently he was like that for 20 hours, and the docs said he has undiagnosed severe diabetes, then he had a heart attack at the hospital. he's been unconscious this whole time, and the doctors are saying they don't think he's going to wake up. that is messed. i always liked him. he's a total fun goofball and i feel like we bonded a bit (albeit drunkenly) at ang's graduation party back in 2008. that family does not need this. i feel terrible for them. i hope adam comes around, but it's not looking good.
nick delffs and i have talked about posting some songs from realms out of reach just to get people interested, but i kind of feel like nothing will happen for a while unless i initiate it. so i initiated a song:
