yesterday i, joe and mayhaw watched a bad movie at joe's place called trick or treat. mayhaw's starting a bad movie podcast with joe as his co-host and me as the producer. yesterday's movie was pretty painful, and not in a good way. but it will be a good starting point. if we can do a podcast about THAT movie, we can do one about any bad movie. i really like joe's apartment too. he lives by pge park, not far from my old apartment in NW. i'm jealous. i want to live in that area of town again. although, the parking situation does suck really bad.
apparently "painted over" and "heliophobia" are being played in new seasons stores. one of my superfans (ken, the guy who listens to modernity leave in one sitting) is involved with this company that puts local music in grocery stores and he added his two fav songs from PDR to their playlist. he's going to add more of my songs too. that's pretty cool on its own, but apparently they pay licensing fees to ASCAP, which means i should see some royalties from this. i have no idea how much (it could just be like 2 bucks) but i'll take it.
