today was another stupid run-in with our neighbor douche. alyssa and i saw him on the way to our garage today and he says, "do you guys enjoy waking me up in the middle of the night? do you get off on it?" then when we say we're not making noise and alyssa asks him what he's hearing and when, he just stops talking, mutters and walks away. he's freaking nuts! we filed a harassment complaint with our manager via email already, but i doubt much will come of it. so basically we're looking for apartments. i'm done with this asshole.
on a better note, i killed it tonight at the white eagle. i played with my old looping pedal and backing tracks set up. i didn't even practice for it! but somehow it ended up being pretty rad. highlights were "space elevator," "sexual taxi" and an improvised "my neighbor is a douche" rap song. some of the redcoat turncoat crew turned out as well as tristan and some of his eugene crew. so yeah i actually had people into it. that's always nice. mcmenamins beer was also nice, thus alyssa drove us home. hah! setlist:

so far tonight, alyssa and i have scoured so many craigslist listings for apartments. we would also like to check out rental houses but we don't really know how. if anyone has any leads or suggestions for us, that would be much appreciated. we need a 2 BR place that will let us have cats. looking for no more than $800 a month.
