Not a whole lot of Things today

Day 4
Today was mainly spent chatting with various folks. I got to meet Nancy's mother, one of her children and her cousin (I think)*, and one of Nancy's friends, who does manuscript illuminations. Very cool. We joined Janet and Rob for lunch, and afterward buried one of her birds who had died a few months ago in Nancy's backyard. More chatting and visiting ensued. Not being a druid or a woman, I didn't really have quite as much imput into the conversation, but I did what I could.
I finally saw V is for Vendetta, took care of some business online (eg, played KOL), and now I'm back at Nancy and Chris' getting ready for bed and playin' me some more KOL.

I think I'm starting to develop quite a taste for gin and tonics. Especially with lime or limey gin since it then tastes like a close cousin to Sprite. Hmm.

Except for the highways running through it (and its lack of being next to a large body of water), Lynchburg reminds me a lot of Duluth. Lots of little stores in old buildings bunched together along roads that go up and down hills.

Tomorrow should be filled with more Things, as we plan to go to Monticello.

*er, the child's cousin, not the mother's.
