kurot is one of the KHR artists' whose style I can't miss. Canon and not so at the same time, I don't know how she does it but I like it so kudos to AREA 27 ;D Just look at the following 4koma to understand.
Some time last week I found my one of my favourite KHR doujinka and it is biased towards 5927 and guess what? GammaUni which makes me so ridiculously happy ;D It's the same dynamics, you see?
I have a weakness for furry things, animals and what not. So imagine my surprise when I realise this doujinka is the same one who did the squirrel27 and wolf59 that i love so much. They also did a mouse27 and human59 doujin which is ajshdflkjahsldka *___*
By the same artist who seems to draw a lot of animal crossovers, not that I'm complaining.

Creative ads
I think the best ads are the kind that make you think and these definitely fit the bill. BUT effective doesn't mean disturbing. It's difficult to balance but awareness doesn't have to come at too high a price. Some of these ads push boundaries and I just don't like it, leaves a bad taste in my mouth D:
The Australian Public Transport Authority got tired of people spray-painting graffiti on their buses and trains. Makes you stop to consider consequences doesn't it?

Brazillian suicide prevention campaign tastefully done and straight to the point. WE WANT TO SAVE YOU, GIVE US YOUR HAND I really like this one for artistic value.
How can you not feel something when you see this? Though granted I think it wasn't very tastefully done but hey! you can't have everything so in order to have the eye popping effect, you sacrifice things like conscience. I'm actually quite disturbed by this but I guess this is the point of the designer but would it make you go out and donate? Feed SA, a South African charity dedicated to feeding disadvantaged people, put these decals in shopping carts and saw a marked increase in donations and a significant boost in website traffic. But it makes me want to look away from those eyes D:
Moar extreme ads but too damn true. I don't have an issue with smokers, I have an issue with second hand smoke and the people who are unfortunate to be in the radius.
This is one ad I cannot condone? It's just too much? I mean HELLO KIDS ARE LOOKING AT IT TOO? I guess this is where the thin line is? Sure you can say intention was in the right place but it can be done in a better way. Children need not lose their innocence in this way at such a young age. What's worse? A failed drowning awareness campaign by ‘Watch Around Water’, an Australian safety initiative or kids actually copying this grisly warning of a motionless child underwater for 'fun'?
But this is fantastic. Just FYI if you can't see it, it's a full length, covering the entire floor of a building poster and those 'ticks' you see are really us, people ;D How very smart?
And to end off with a good note instead of the meh D: Check this awesome 3D graffiti art? I've seen one of these outside QVB Sydney but this blows my mind. The sense of depth and perspective these talented people have. I would really stop and think it's real!
FYI that's a real boy sitting on the ground which seem to have become a pool of sorts.
And a pool next to the 'ocean'. Is it obvious I'm jealous of people who can draw?
