David Tennant Portrait

Hey look, something that's not Merlin orientated! How did that happen? lol

This is a Christmas present for one of my dearest friends, Sarah or seduff  as she's known everywhere else in the Doctor Who world (and if your a fan of Doctor Who and haven't heard of her then what are you doing!? You're missing out!). So anyway, I thought, what better present can I give her than drawing her a portrait of David Tennant and sending it via snail mail so that it'll get to her 2 months late! Yay! lol Anyway, here it is. I hope you like it, especially since the only reason anyone here on LJ will see it is because you've friended me or are watching me on Live Journal, in which case thank you! It means a lot to me. *gives hugs and cookies*

Tools: Just HB and B 0.5 Mechanical pencils - I know, I'm getting lazy. ^.^ Rubbers, blending sticks and que-tips, but not just any que-tips. Oh no my friends, wonderful cosmetic que-tips! Usually they're used for make up and painting nails but they're fantastic for blending pencil as well because they have a point that's great for small areas! (That's my tip of the day! :D)
Paper: White A4 Sketch Pad, 180gsm
Started: 5/11/10
Finished: 22/12/10 (So I didn't expect it to arrive before Christmas but I did think it'd arrive before February Sheesh!)
Time Taken: 25 hours. First drawing I've actually counted the hours on!... unfortunately, I now know exactly how slow I'm being. lol.
Favourite Part: The shirt! I'm really proud of how the shirt came out.
Which part made me want to rip my hair out?: Ironically enough, his hair. I'm happy with how it turned out but it still drove me crazy, doing it.

So.... what do you think? >.<
