Honestly? Because the X-men found me running around, saved me from some crazy anti-Apocalypse cult guys and told me we were going to space. There was some huge mega war thing going on because of Scott and Alex's other brother Gabriel, and they wanted me to help stop him. Magneto wasn't there--the last I heard of him, he's living somewhere miserably on Earth. Just some biggg Summers melodrama.

[She shrugs.]

Then it just ended up with me and a few others chasing down this dumbass Summers' brother so we could put a stop to him. It took a lot longer than any of us expected, too. Which is why I am so glad to have this burger, Pietro--don't ever go live in space, even if it's just the moon.
