No, I don't have Halo Flu

Though I wish I could say that I have been so busy playing video games these past weeks that I have forsaken all responsibilities in order to - once again - save the world, I have in fact been occupied with mundane work-a-day minutiae. In fact, since purchasing the game I have only thrice had occasion to resume my gallant battle.

In addition, I used all my off-days from this past fortnight to visit the fam in Ontario. I didn't think I would have much time to see other people - which I didn't - so don't feel slighted that I didn't mention it. ;) It was becoming increasingly likely that I wouldn't be able to return to Ontario for Christmas, but all my family was together this past weekend so I took advantage of the fact and celebrated the holidays early, so-to-speak. However, this may mean that I can return for another visit in January or February; a visit of greater length and breadth... insert penis (joke) here.

Though work has been uncommonly slow for this time of year, I can feel the pressure mounting and have the feeling that when next I stop to take stock, it will be January. This, however, is the time of year when earning commission is a blessing, but it sucks in every other respect. A good experience, an educational excursion, but no way to live.
