"Now i have to tell a little story:
This day, exactly one year ago, A very shy young man had a crush on an equally shy young woman. Despite the shyness, they had become pretty good friends. In fact they were the closest of friends, able to tell eachother anything. Unfortunately though, this wasn't enough for the incredibly lovestruck and selfish young man, he realized he had fallen deeeeeeeeply in love with his friend. He had wanted to tell her for awhile but, there was simply no nerve for such a thing (He was very very very afraid of what might happen if she didn't feel the same).
So, night after night after night he laid awake in bed, thinking about her, wanting to tell her, and thinking about her some more. Finally, through luck one of her friends happened to talk to him. He got some very useful information (and can't thank her enough for it :-P). Apparently, It was pretty safe to say that she had the same feelings. So.. on February 23rd of 2004, He told her exactly how he felt about her, how much he loved her, how much he wanted to be with her. And.... and... and.... she felt the same! And he could finally let all his feelings out.. and they could be happy together and in love.. The whole year passed, amidst plenty of visits and yet not enough time together...And now those two people are here, 2005, still together.. still in love..
This, is the story of the happiest day in my life. There've been plenty of wonderful days between then and now, many amazing nights and days with the most special person in my life (and still not enough) But none are quite as special as the day i knew i was loved.
This concludes my corny and sappy story in appreciation of this fine day."
2007, still together, still in love, every day closer to being together permanently... Three years!
