There are some really fantastic comments on
returntoromance - They have featured this journal in the spotlight and suddenly Nigel has over 200 friends and lots of messages of support, and some new sponsors which is amazing. People from Singapore, Italy, America and the UK posting to wish Nigel luck and share their thoughts on what he is doing. Nige & I can't believe how many responses after just a couple of days - it is so nice when people are positive and supportive of a complete stranger. A couple of people saying how inspiring it is for them, having also lost someone close.
Some numnuts did post to say of Nigel's 1300 mile sponsored walk 'I walk all the way to the toilet everytime I need to take a shit, do I get recognition?' What a twat. A couple of other strangers posted straight away to tell him 1 - you're an asshole, 2 - shut up. So my work was done before I logged on. Good to know.
