I've found this interesting interview, which sheds some light on Fuller's immediate plans for the remaining 9 episodes of the season, and why the series was cancelled in the worst moment possible! He also talks about the comic book, and some things he says makes the comic idea make much more sense than it did before to me.
By the way, now I just

If you are in the US or Canada, any comicbook shop can special order the comics for you from the distributor (Diamond Distributors) if they haven't already decided to stock it anyway. If you want to ensure that you get a copy in case the store under-orders them, set up a "pull list" with the shop or just ask them to reserve a copy for you. I highly doubt they'll turn away your business even if it's just for 1 issue.
Bookstores that don't normally carry single issue comic books (as opposed to trade paperbacks) may possibly be able to order copies through Diamond Distributors, but I've never done this so your mileage may vary.
Comics can be mailordered from a multitude of online comic stores. A lot of them will ship internationally. These three stores pop up a lot in the comic forums I frequent: Midtown Comics, Lone Star Comics and Mile High Comics. I've been to Midtown in person and found them very nice. I've never done any comic mailordering though, so research before you buy. The UK's Forbidden Planet does a lot of American comic business, and Australia has some sort of comics industry as well, though I don't know of any particular shops there.

In comparison, we pay, what, 39 dollars for the blueray? Taht would get to me for about 100, still a good deal in comparison.
Moral of the story, if they wanted international audeicnes to be able to buy this, they would make it available to us at a fair price. I have no problems in seeking for an affordable alternative.

Something smells of self-entitlement here. Why should you or anyone else get someone's hard work for free? How exactly are you supporting the comic where it counts - in circulation numbers, by piracy? If you want to be proactive, email the publisher and ask if they will publish digital comics (Marvel has gone down this route) or if they have international distribution channels outside of the usual N. American comic retail market.

But let me put things in simple ways. I don't have to buy the comic. I'm free to choose not to buy, and so are you. If it's too expensive, people won't buy it. And if I happen to find the same comic somewhere else, so much the better, but that won't affect the fact I can't afford an international order.
And if the publisher wanted it to be bought in South America, they would sell it here. But obviously they are not interested in our market. If they sell it locally, I'll be more than happy to pay for it, like so many other comics available.
One more thing. I'm really thankful for the people who post episodes online, because if it weren't for them, I wold hav enever known Pushing Daisies in the first place, since we have no other way to watch.
