Here's to small steps towards our dreams!

Well here it is!
--New England Championship Wrestling from Thursday night in Somerville, MA Scottie & Ray Slade b Paul Lombardi & Doug Summers,

That little snippet is from The Wrestling Observer's website and it's officially my first appearance there. This makes me really happy because i've been reading the reports on this site for years and now that's MY NAME on it! I was mentioned in an update which also included details about Shelton Benjamin's hand injury, and Steve Austin's contract troubles!! Plus subscription information!
It's just really nice to be able to take a step back and see all of this unfolding. That i am out there and that i'm living my dream one small step at a time. On saturday morning after we had finished taping for the Slamtech weekly television show (coming soon to cable access channels everywhere!) i had sat down in a folding chair and was unlacing my boots, with hands, still covered in sweat, from the last match i had worked when i stopped suddenly and looked around the room. Everyone there was talking and laughing and just having a really good time (as is the norm with the TV tapings), talking about what they were gonna do between now and the show most of us were booked for later that night. Then it just really hit me what i was doing. I looked down at my feet and there were wrestling boots half unlaced. I looked at my arms and the adhesive from the wrist tape was still stuck. I looked up and i saw the ring, the same ring ive been practicing in for over a year now but today it was different somehow. Within rings like that for years my heroes have been making their names. Most of them started just like i did, fans who wanted to be a part of what was going on. People who loved the business so much that they had to try to make it a part of their lives. So they practiced, just like i practice. They learned from the ones who came before them, just like i learn. They studied their childhood idol's moves and manerisms, just like i try to do. They worked matches on saturdaysin front of very few people, just like i did that morning. I AM following in their footsteps, and it feels great.

P.S. i'm a mark

MOZ QUOTE OF THE DAY (not accurate due to time constraints):
"I follow a few steps behind, and I see it now, that he's just like me."
