(no subject)
Well the job is great. I love what I do, it's just incredibly terrifying now that I'm done training (after a day and a half). The guy training me had to move to L.A. so I'm kinda up a creek for the first few weeks. I'll figure it out and get my own system down though. I'm SO excited about having a PROFESSIONAL job. I feel like I'm FINALLY following my degree through! I can't WAIT until we sell this house and Chandra has a job and I don't have to wake up at 6:45 for my commute! YAY FOR CHANGE!
I'll miss the staff at the church though. My brother in particular...I know he reads this...but seriously, I feel like I did a pretty pathetic job of being a brother while I lived in the same town. Yeah we're busy and he's busy...but we just kind of went into our own worlds. I'll probably see them just as much being in Lansing. Oh well...as long as we still see them. :)
Chandra and I are going to my friend Jenni Lindimore's wedding. She's my surrogate sister from my junior/senior years of high school. We were nearly inseperable during the school days. Never really hung out outside of school which is odd, but she was in softball and I was in a band. Anyways, literally a brother/sister type relationship and it's cool to see her finally marrying! She talked about it through high school with a couple guys and got out of that mindset through college until she met this guy through a friend. I'm really happy though. And he's jewish! Which I think is awesome. I get to wear a yamechah (sp?)! I can't wait! Hopefully my head will hold it on.
Chandra's hair isn't cooperating and she yelled at me for asking some question about their gift (whether we should do a gift or money) and she was like, "You can't ask me now! This is the worst time! I'm having hair trouble!" It was kinda silly but if I told her that now I'd get the silent treatment for a weekend. So I'll wait 'til she's in a better mood and she'll laugh at it with me. :) She's silly. I love that girl.
The main reason I'm udpating, is because I'm bored and already dressed and ready to go. I look hot. Seriously, if I had a jacket and was thinner I'd look like something out of a Tarantino movie. I'm wearing sunglasses and it's not sunny...but damn I look good.
