Dates 3 and 4 were complete successes. I'm a very happy girl. For our 3rd date, I took him to Old Town for the first time. We ate at Cafe Coyote, my favorite place, and then walked around the historic state park part of Old Town. Then we wound up back at my apartment where he actually wanted to watch Season 1 of Grey's Anatomy, since he'd never seen the show. We totally watched episodes that night and then I let him borrow it. Fantastic!

Date 4 was adorable. I went over to his house in North Park first, since I hadn't been there yet. He gave me the grand tour and then we decided to head out. He drove us out to La Jolla where we were going to see the seals, which he ddn't even know existed until I told him about it. We spent about an hour around the seals, watching them, talking, looking at the Pacific Ocean. Shannon was working, so it was fun to see her. As we were leaving, Kim and her UCSD Water Polo friends and recruits were walking to the seals as wel, so that was random and fun. Next, we walked around La Jolla looking for a place to eat, since neither of us really ate lunch. After walking up and down looking for seafood, we decided on this cozy place called The Spot in La Jolla. I had delicious blackened baja mahi tacos with amazing french fries, and he had fish and chips. We were pretty happy with our choice. We left the restaurant around 5pm, with the intention of getting ice cream. BUT, it was raining, like seriously raining and we were without umbrellas. So, we made a run for it. First of all, it was an adorable moment to run through the rain to the car together. As we were running, I realized that my sandals weren't going to make it, so I took them off rather than break them. We had to run downhill and I was slipping and sliding all over the sidewalk. He grabbed my hand to keep me steady, but I fell down nonetheless. Plop! Right on my butt/back. It. Was. Hilarious. Like seriously, funniest moment of my year. I could not stop laughing and completely gave him permission to laugh at me as well. I was soaking wet. I looked ridiculous. But it was completely hiliarious, so I couldn't do anything but laugh at myself. So, we drove back to his place in North Park, where I was able to at least put on a dry sweatshirt that I had in my car. We ended up watching more Grey's Anatomy, while drinking coffee. It was so relaxing. We also took a quick walk down to the corner market to get ice cream, even though it was cold and wet and rainy. :) He saved me from falling a few times, which was good. We watched one last episode before I went home. All in all, a spectacular day with a guy I really like. :)
