(no subject)
Hey all, thought an update would be called for.
Fall Break was awesome, and it threw me a real weird twist. Who'd have thought that I'd feel homesick for here when I saw my room and home. Doesn't even feel real to say that it is... like I said, weird, right?
From the beginning of this year, I didn't really know anyone here, cept for one other person from Bow, who I don't really know. But I got to know people, and that was awesome. The people that I really enjoyed getting to know, and those that seemed genuinely interested in things that I like to do, were in KKPsi, the national band service Fraternity on campus. I went to the rushes, and I had a blast, I really did, we played games, ate food, and got to know the brothers better. Then came interviewing-ness, annnnnnnnd A Bid! That bid allowed me to apply for membership. I'm pretty sure I know some of your reactions at seeing this, but I've got to tell you, they're fun guys. Granted, I was blind-folded so I couldn't see the location. Ooooooohhh, so what. I'm not really sure what I can say about it after that. It was nicely ritualized, and very formal; which I appreciated. I also got Bigs, both a Brother and a Sister, who'll be my resources to attaining Brotherhood. They're fun, and I don't want to say anything more, cus I don't know what isn't sayable :D
Finals end on the 21 of December, so I'll be home then, keep a weathered eye out for me!
