Patrons can be odd sometimes
I meant to post this on Saturday when it happened, but when I was volunteering at the library, I called up one lady, and after I told her that her book was in, she asked me for my name. I told her I was just a volunteer and didn't work at the library, and she said that she asked because then if she came in and her book wasn't there, she could say I told her it was in. So I told her that if that happened, to just say that she got the call on Saturday, and they would know who I was (or if they didn't, they could look me up on the sign-in sheet, but I didn't think to mention that part at the time).
