Mom and I went to see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button today, and while it was a nice little movie, I kind of felt like it could have been shorter. I mean, for running almost three hours, there's not that much that actually happens when you get right down to it. It's like it was an extremely faithful adaptation of a book, which is kind of strange since it was based off of a short story.
While we were at the movies, it started to snow, and while it wasn't too bad, on the way home we got stuck waiting on an accident. We didn't really know this until the end, but apparently a car got stuck in a ditch, and they stopped traffic on both sides while three to four tow trucks, the police, and the fire Marshall worked to get it out. We ended up waiting for over half an hour, and the show was definitely worse by the time they let us go. But we made it home all right after that.
