Masi Oka on Jimmy Kimmel ^_^ talking about the Yatta guys o.O
Seriously, Masi was talking to Jimmy about how Hiro's catchphrase was originally going to be "Banzai" only it was written "bonsai," so he pointed it out to the scriptwriters, and also told them that "banzai" has connotations of war, so he suggested they change it to "yatta" instead, and the rest was history. And then Jimmy said, "Well, 'yatta' happens to be one of my favorite words because of those leaf guys," and Masi's eyes just lit up, like "you know them!" and he called them the SNL of Japan, and then they showed a clip, and it was great.
