A Lewis Carroll syllogism:
(a) No interesting poems are unpopular among people of real taste.
(b) No modern poetry is free from affectation.
(c) All your poems are on the subject of soap-bubbles.
(d) No affected poetry is popular among people of real taste.
(e) No ancient poem is on the subject of soap-bubbles.
This is my new favorite way to say 'Your poetry sucks'. Especially since you can totally just change out 'soap-bubbles' to fit the occasion.
Shut up, yes I'm a nerd and was looking up syllogisms for fun. And I am INCREDIBLY disappointed at not finding ones complex enough. I'm trying logic puzzles now. I need brain teasers.
