FANGIRLS YAAAY
To rectify my complete failure to post about it at the time:
Last weekend I stayed over at wanttobeatree's with lazy_daze and persuna for a Samgirl sleepover / general Sam Winchester Fest. AND IT WAS ACE. We watched so many Sam episodes. ;__; IT WAS BEAUTIFUL TIMES, I TELL YOU.
Also, maaaaaaaan, I had forgotten how much I love season one. SEASON ONE, HOW ARE YOU SO GREAT? FOREVER IN MY HEAAART. *heart hands*
We didn't watch Born Under a Bad Sign and Heart, despite those being pretty classic Sam episodes, because we'd all watched them so many times already, but we did watch Mystery Spot despite how much we'd all watched it already, simply because it is still POSSIBLY THE GREATEST EPISODE.
We basically spent the whole time weeping over his man pain except those times when we got distracted by how good his arse looks in jeans. (And also those times we spent making/decorating fairycakes and eating wayyy too much pizza. >__>)
In conclusion: SAAAAAAAAAAAAMMM. <3333
And then during the week I went to London with wanttobeatree to see Ke$ha. Who is amaze. No wait, come back! She is!
Tree and I basically fell in love with her together over twitter. We both confessed to having guilty pleasure loves of some of her songs, and then while youtubing it up to figure out which songs we we actually talking about we stumbled across this:
And were immediately enamoured becuase 1) girls in fake moustaches are the best and 2) HOMG she is so adorbs. ♥__♥ And then we devoured a whole load of other video clips of her and her adorableness inevitably lead to girlcrushes all around. (One of her music videos involves her being in a club full of unicorn people and then having a lazer fight with James van der Beek (of Dawson's Creek fame). You cannot argue that is not awesome!)
So Tree and I plotted to go see her live, and then we successfully carried out our plots (including trashy outfits all around \o/). Admittedly the supporting acts kind of dragged after a while, becuase I was impatient to get to the Ke$ha, but then once she did get on stage I was all ~My impatience is now diamonds! GLITTTER~ and everything was shiny and wonderful.
(And then we hung out in London for a couple more days and had adventures including Getting lost in Harrods! and Peering at a jacket in Harrods then finding out cost £23,000 and being freaked out by that! and Visiting the Sherlock Holmes museum and taking silly pictures with the silly character figures! and Battling with Oyster cards! and Deciding, upon exploring Forbidden Planet, that all comic book shops/Cult Entertainment Megastores should ideally be linked by some sort of extra geeky L-space! and Eating way too much pizza!)
