So I made it to NZ in one piece! Turns out my irrational anxieties were totally unfounded! WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED??
At the moment I am away from smallcaps spending a couple of days in Auckland with relatives. Auckland is completely overcast, but I managed to get sunburned anyway. SUCCESS AT LIFE.
I have nothing really to tell you about the ~wonders of Auckland~ because I am not the kind of traveller who takes lots of pictures and feels the need to regale people with sightseeing details. I do, however, feel the need to tell you about the fact we drove past a road called Gerard Way today. LOL. LOL. He is a singer, not a street! SILLY AUCKLAND. Gerard Way! I AM AMUSE. (I am very easily amuse, it seems.)
ALSO. I saw a black porsche with the licence plate: DKNGHT. DARK KNIGHT. LOL BATMAN'S PORSCHE. (Except Bruce Wayne is too subtle for that shit.) (Also, last I heard, too dead. But I don't keep up with these things, so maybe he got better since then.) ANYWAY. GEEKY LICENCE PLATE. PLEASING!
That was right after lunch. My lunch was DELICIOUS CHINESE FOOD. Which included battered squid tentacles! \o/ I have had squid tentacles before (in noodle soup) and thought they were too chewy for my taste, but battered they are DELICIOUS AND CRUNCHY AND DELICIOUS. (I mostly mentioned this so I could use my tentacles tag. True!) (BUT ALSO BECAUSE DELICIOUSNESS IS WORTH PUBLIC CELEBRATING. OM NOM NOM.)
P.S. SMALLCAPS, I MISS YOU. MY COUSINS ARE NOT ACTUALLY THAT BAD, BUT I STILL WANT TO COME HOME. EXPECT ME ~WAITING FOR YOU IN YOUR BED~ WHEN YOU GET BACK FROM WORK TOMORROW.
