http://www.spin.com/features/news/2007/05/070515_nin/ Basically, Universal is charging $30 US for copies of Year Zero in Australia (my copy was $10 US, by way of comparison). According to Trent, the label told him this is because "we know you have a real core audience that will pay whatever it costs when you put something out - you know, true fans."
That's a ridiculous amount of money for a single CD (although it was a really good album), and it's good to see Trent taking the label to task for the overpricing..
