Now THAT was some exciting television. Last week's episode left me a little lukewarm, but these week was definitely worthwhile.
Okay, so, let's see, what did we learn? Much more was learned about DL (I knew he wasn't evil!), who apparently has some sort of Vision/Shadowcat power base. We also learned more about Niki, who seems to be more of a Mirror Master/Hulk crossover rather than just pure Hulk, which is what I thought earlier. It was good getting to see Ali Larter flex her acting muscles a little, and seeing both sides of her personality battle it out.
We also learned significantly more about the extent of ClaireDad's influence, as we learn that he's been keeping tabs on the "new york contingent" (who we actually didn't see much of this episode). We got to see some more Hiro, though, which is always a treat - I think this episode is clearly designed to be a turning point for his character (his "uncle Ben" moment, if you will). Also, I don't know why I didn't realize this before, but the symbol that keeps popping up (seen this week as Isaac uncovered it in his Niki picture, right in the spot where DL scratched her) appears to be a stylized one-half of a double helix, which fits with the voice-overs about evolution, I suppose.
