The weekend update...
I saw the Hulk on Saturday. It was a pretty good flick. The directing was very artsy, especially some of the transitions between scenes. Ang Lee even managed to do some split screen effects to give the movie a comic book feel. The plot of the movie was a bit weak; one could consider it a more character-driven movie.
Last night we went to the Showcase theatre and saw Seventh Star, As I Lay Dying, The Agony Scene, Norwegian thrash masters Extol and tough guy metalcore act Demon Hunter.
Seventh Star was boring. As I Lay Dying was most excellent. The Agony Scene was a little too European. Extol was orgasmic. Demon Hunter was dissapointing. All in all, a good show.
