My teacher training ended last Wednesday. Now I'm looking for a job. That's not easy here in Saxony because out of over 300 applicants the public school system only employs 50!

Yesterday was the best schoolday of my life, student or teacher: My school celebrates its centenary this week and yesterday we organized a Historical Schoolday. Teachers and most of the students dressed in historical costumes and we held classes like 100 years ago, girls and boys separated and all, of course. I had so good ideas early this morning so all went well. There is another lesson tomorrow - boring topic and I have to deal with my “beloved” tutor, but I will survive that as well. She even complimented me on my clothes today. I couldn’t believe it!
 

I startet as a student teacher in September and am fighting my way from lesson to lesson. Tomorrow I have to teach German in class 5 und Protestant Religion in class 7 and I have no idea, what to do with them. Class 7 will be easier because they start with a new unit: Islam.
