i love the verdana font. it's so regal but personable at the same time.
so after much thought, i've decided to make a public blog. so many of you wonder what exactly i'm thinking and how/why. so now you can know but i'd still like to maintain that asking me in person is the best thing to do. this blog will serve as a universal bitching board for me with the focus being on my life in the school of music as an undergrad paying my dues to eat the good food. if you're here, you've stumbled across my blog or i gave you think. either way: enjoy!
i guess i'll provide you some background info...
i'm jay peeler [dean]. i'm an undergraduate singer at the UNCG School of Music. Small known fact is that it's ranked 7th in the nation for public schools of music, so we're suppossed to be really good and stuff. i'm a sophomore double major in philosophy with a pre law concentration and vocal music peformance. there's a nice little hierachy of degrees and i fall in the BA category, either way, we all try to sing. it's pretty damn stressful sometimes but isn't life in general. the school of philosophy is fairly relaxed. they don't care what classes you take, as long as you have 36 hours of philosophy with maybe 5 required classes you're getting a degree. i like school of the most part.
i guess i'm infamous for saying what i want. i'm crazy, i admit it whole heartedly but i'm not insane. i think alot but you couldn't tell sometimes. i'm not sure what to say about all that. i have very few trusted friends. i am friendly with many people but i'd say that i have maybe five friends in the school of music. i don't talk to any of the philsophy majors. i have lots of campus friendlies though.
so yeah, that's my shell. i'm sure you'll find out more from reading.
Greatness
