i just returned from a weekend wedding trip. my cousin Tiffiny got married... and lets just say the trip had very many interesting subtleties. It started with a long drive to missouri to my oldest cousins house... this is where a lot fo the fam was staying... including two of my little second cousins... Spring and Keri.... Spring a little curly blonde about three and Keri a jet black haired adopted middle eastern girl about five both spent the day trying to scare me... sneaking up on me at every moment... yes every moment including moments that were 5 seconds apart... for some reason they did not understand that to scare someone they must not hear you coming and must not be expecting you to come... it is hard not fain suprise when they try to scare you 3 times in 30 seconds... and about 100 in an hour... none the less it was amusing, and cute... there was also a nice stream that ran along the back yard(the house was sort of in the country) in the woods... i took a morning strole for about 30 min... at about 7 in the morn... it was nice... crisp and cold.
Later that night we went to the wedding. Spring was the cute little flower girl... I was the camera man who's job was to capture this cuteness along with the beautiful and joyous moments of the vows and of course the "you may now kiss the bride".
I like weddings because they always leave you feeling incredibly happy... and for me it causes flouding thoughts and imaginations of my future wedding... sigh soon, i hope.
after the wedding and later the next afternoon we had lunch with my moms side of the fam. My grandpa is a very mercurial man and quite amusing. For one he can't see very well... when he watches sports on the tv... his nose touches the screen and his head bobs from one corned to the next as he to view the whole screen... well at lunch one funny thing that happened was when he was trying to pour himself some ketchup... well he peered at his plate for a few seconds... aimed the ketchup bottle and started squirting ketchup on the edge of his plate... and on the table... all over the table... bubbling over like a red lava flow. the funny thing is he just kept pouring and pouring... then we told him that he missed his plate... so he momentairily hesitated and then resumed squirting on to the table.
the rest of the day was spent at my uncle johns house... he has 6 children... with a seventh on the way... lots of family in visiting... and all in a trailor house. Just my kind of atmousfere. These children are not normal children... how to describe... ah you know that really fast kid on the incrdibles... they are like him... and dennis the menace mixed together... Cole the oldest youngster... is like a freight train running around in a trailor. and of course i was their mountain to climb... crash into and ride. It was a blast.
and that was my weekend
