For the second week in a row, Elora and I have visited the library while Conal is at scouts. I'm glad to be getting out a little bit. I use the walker for the library, but I can't go to the children's section to help her pick out books because of the stairs. I sit at one of the round tables surrounded by the DVD and paperback shelves on one side, the computer bank on another, and short stacks on the third. I've been reading JoAnna Carl's chocoholic mystery series and have been enjoying them quite a bit. They're fast easy reads and I can usually finish one in a night or two.
I'm still living on our ground floor. Dr. Parvizi doesn't want to see me again until October! Conal asked how long I would have to stay on the ground floor and I told him 'about 6 months', and I wouldn't be able to go upstairs until a few months after Christmas. I'm looking into getting a heated mattress pad (I love those, was first introduced to them when sis and I stayed at a B & B on the Isle of Skye, they're lovely) for the bed down here, and maybe have someone bring me the blue down comforter (which my sister gave me). Conal doesn't want his Harry Potter sheets, and I know one set of them is flannel, so I'll probably use that most of the winter.
