Lots of things happening, many of them good, but I shouldn't say anything as it might jinx my bit of luck.
Elora had a sensory evaluation done and will be starting sensory therapy in about 5 hours (and I'm still awake, no sleep yet tonight!). We started her on Adderall on Sunday. She's taking 5 mg dose and today after gymnastics, she walked out WALKED, not running and jumping. She walked over to me and said, "mommy, I feel tired". O_O!!! This has NEVER, NEVER happened. She's NEVER tired unless she's ill or it's waaaay past her bedtime. I think it just may be working. Some parents with whom I've spoken say it acts immediately, and some say it takes a few weeks. Needless to say, I'm surprised. We shall see.
Conal made the honor roll for the second marking period, and he came in 2nd in the cub scout pinewood derby races. YAY! I am SO proud of my son. He will officially become a Boy Scout on the 22nd of this month, at the Blue and Gold Dinner, and he'll be awarded the Arrow of Light, the highest award in cub scouts. His Webelos leader, Louise Marr has been wonderful and I cannot say enough good things about this woman, she's that amazing.
Mark has another hernia was sent home from work on the 4th with the instructions that he not return until it's repaired and he has a doctor's release. He's scheduled for surgery on the 17th.
Me? Currently I'm upset with the sticky keys on my keyboard, and getting a scratchy throat and cough. I've taken prescription cough syrup with codeine, and topped that off with percocet and lemon-ginger tea with honey.
I hope most of that made sense, I'm not going back to check it, sticky keys be damned. It's annoying though, KNOWING I've typed a word correctly and seeing letters missing.
