I came here to rant about...well, lots of things, but I lack both the energy and the coherence to do that now.

All I'll say is; four sleeps 'til Barrowman, my bright spot in the midst of revision. Hurrah!

ETA: Actually, Regina Spektor is a bright spot all on her own. I cannot wait for her new album.

This is a media pandemic, above all else.

Also, apparently, I'm discouraged from "complaining" about the media's treatment of this at the dinner table, yet it's fine for my mother to rant and rave at length about the trees overhanging our garden. Double standards, much?
