Grey-a-Day: Greyhounds in Film
Click to view"The Mighty Celt" is a 2005 coming-of-age film about an Irish boy (played by Tyrone McKenna) who trains a "loser" racing greyhound to earn its ownership. While the film is more brutal than most boy-and-his-dog stories the final message is full of hope and there is a happy ending. Oh and Gillian Anderson (of X-files fame) plays the boy mom!
