The election

I recently had a disturbing thought regarding President Bush. While he has pulled a lot of stupid crap over the last four years and probably will over the course of the next four, consider this:

How do you think he would have acted over the next two months if he had not been re-elected and was therefore pissed off and felt he had nothing left to prove/lose? Hmmm?

I dunno, maybe he'll settle down now. After all, he's finally achieved something his father couldn't: he was re-elected.

Oh, and some advice for the Democratic party... Find somebody interesting. Yes, we need a candidate who is smart enough to handle the issues, but we also need somebody with a little charisma, a little stage presence, a little color. Clinton had it, but Kerry made Bush look interesting (which is really saying something). Well, Gore would have pulled it off, but only because he was running against W and had the Clinto momentum at his back. Sad but true: you don't necessarily win elections by being the smartest or the most qualified. You win elections by being the guy the voters LIKE, the guy the voters can identify with.

Okay, I'll step down ... for now.
