Lets see, last couple of days... very very very busy.
Friday: Class. Hell. Organic Chemistry. Also hell. Got out of o-chem lab early, which was nice. So I went home, got home around 4. Blake Lewis (American Idol) was back in town for a parade and whatnot. All traffic going in, out, and around Bothell went to hell. I could hear the freaking parade and concert from my apartment, so I walked down to the park where it was being held (a mere 3 blocks from home), and hung out for a while. I don't particularly care for the way he sings and his voice, but meh. It was something to do that got me out of the house for a while. Later that evening Ben and I went to the Cactus Moon Saloon in Everett to celebrate Ben's bother's (Nate) birthday. That was actually kind of boring. I had maybe a quarter of a fuzzy navel and a huge class of water. Partially due to the fact that I had to drive home later, but whatever. At least the conversations were good.
Saturday: Work. Then I had to leave early to go to Payton's first communion, which was very cute and nice. Then Ben and I both had to get back up to Kirkland so that we could go back to work (Ben's had a huge project dumped on him with a fast-and-up-comming deadline by some jerk project manager, so he's been working massive amounts of overtime). Work was generally boring. Go home, Ben's still working. So I go on out to Safeway and Blockbuster and get myself some dinner and entertainment. Two DVD's of House later (most of the episodes watched, not all, some I just didn't feel in the mood to watch), Ben finally comes home (like, 9:30 PM!) and tells me that him and Tom are going out bowling in a little bit. Him and Tom. Bah. A little miffed at not being invited, but then again, I was dead tired anyways. I could hardly keep my eyes open, let alone go bowling. So I stayed home and watched some TV and went to bed.
Sunday: Slept in, but not enough. Part of my mind was angry at being so unceremoneously thrown out of bed, but part of me was all "HOLY SHIT! Its 10 AM! Lazy! Lazy! Lazy!". We lounged around most of the morning; it was nice considering Ben was supposed to have gone in to work to get more of that damn project done. Then we went to Ben's grandparents' place with his mom. That was nice, grannie and grandpa are always fun to see. Then Ben's mom, Ben, and I all went down to my parents' place and had dinner there. Really fun. Good food. I will admit, it was really hard seeing my mom and dad after all that's happened in the last two weeks. On the way back up to Bothell, we stopped at a cemetary in Renton. Ben's older brother, Neil, who was still-born, was buried there; so Ben's mom wanted to stop there and lay some flowers down. And some flowers on the grave of Ben's uncle, also died very young (6 weeks; SID baby), also born on the same day as Neil, not but a handful of graves away from him. I think thats the first time I've been to a cemetary before (to actually visit a specific gravesite). I've been a cemetary once before, but it was really just a tour (WTF kind of messed up gradeschool thinks that a fieldtrip to a fucking CEMETARY is worth our tuition dollars?!). Went home, and basically went to bed after only a small, small amount of TV.
Sleep, sleep, sleep. Thats all I want to do, but I can never get enough of it. I'm always tired. Always on the verge of falling asleep, wherever I go, whatever I do. Its frustrating to always feel tired, no matter how much sleep you do or do not get.
