Well, its done and over-with, now.
Cyst is gone. Mole is gone. And the mole's cousin on my back is gone, too. After discovering that the mole was bothering me, I became ok with the idea of letting it go. And I gave the bum-rush to its buddy on my back, which I discovered looked like a little sobrero, hehe.
The procedure went well. Didn't really hurt too bad, compared to what I was expecting. I even got a single suture out of the whole ordeal (over the spot where the cyst was). Its pretty. I believe it was a surgeon's knot, aka a single "interrupted" suture.
It was awesome, though. I was pestering the doctor the whole time with:
"What kind of injection is that?"
"How big is that needle?"
"Is that nerve blocking?"
"What is that?"
etc...
I even got to help a nursing student out. The normal nurse introduced herself to me, then she introduced this other gal with her saying that she was a nursing student and asked if I minded having her tag along. I said I didn't mind at all, the more the merrier. Hehe. I enjoy helping people learn, especially about stuff like this. I know some people are uncomfortable with having students doing stuff, but honestly I think its awesome. I'm all for helping people get the experience they want/need. <3 Justine, lol. Speaking of which... Justine, you interested in learning how to take out a suture in 7-10 days? ;)
I'm a little achey, little sore, but ok otherwise. Now I just need to do my homework, argh!
