Check this post to prompt me! :) Father and Sons was one of the first fully organized companies uniting superheroes. At first it was run only in the family circle, but with time things changed. New people came in and new rules were set. When fighting over fresh ideas and rule changing, it was often the two sons that would be the most conservative. When their father signed the deal with the Winchester’s company, it seemed to be the final straw in the family war. Lucifer, one of the most promising superheroes ever, left and he did it with a bang. He caused a rebellion, uniting with villains and fighting against his owns. When he lost the fight he caused, he hid in the shadows, licking his wounds. And now only occasionally would he show up to cause trouble amongst the ones that cast him out.
The other brother, who always fought, decided to stick with the company and even survive the dunderheads called Winchesters. If anything, he only missed his fights with their father. As the man left the organization in hands of John Winchester, leaving him only with some notes on describing his crazy plans.
Contrary to common belief, Gabriel didn’t fight with his father just on principle. Usually he just really didn’t see any sense in his father’s orders. One could ask why, then, Gabriel never left as Lucifer did, but to tell the truth, he would rather fight with his father over all these ridiculous plans than actually switch teams. He liked their organization, the family feeling it held, even after the big union with the Winchesters, and he wanted it to grow strong. He couldn't exactly fight with John in the same manner as his father, though. Well, okay, he could and often did, but it brought even less results than fighting with his own father. John Winchester was one stubborn son of a bitch and if not for the fact that Gabriel actually saw the man lifting up and tossing a truck, he’d swear that being a SOB was the man’s only power. And the worst for Gabriel was when Winchester actually worked with the notes and plans Gabriel’s father left. It was as if both fathers united to mock Gabriel.
It wasn’t bad enough they decided to merge their companies into one (Winchester and Sons), they apparently found it adorable to stick their kids with partnerships for the extra safety. And it’s not that like there was anything particularly wrong with partnership. Actually, Gabriel thought, in some cases it was pure genius. Castiel with x-ray vision could use some extra strength of Dean’s, this was a great pair. Not to mention it saved everyone else but Dean from Castiel’s (x-rayed or not) loving stares. And okay, the others hadn’t worked so bad together either. Jo held Uriel in place, Adam and Michael barely spoke at all, preferring to telepathy flirt with each other, everyone was frickin’ happy. But Gabriel. Didn’t. Need. A partner.
Gabriel was pretty much a Superman. Or as close as one can get to being Superman without wearing spandex and hair gel in sickening amounts. The point was, Gabriel didn’t need protection. He didn’t need company; He could always swoon some pretty thing with his ‘saving the damsel in distress’ act. And he most certainly didn’t need Sam Winchester bitchfacing at him all day long. At first he had hopes. After all, that bendy, rubber-like body could be used quite creatively. But the rule-loving, tight-up Sam-my quickly killed all his kinky dreams. That was about a year ago, when they were first assigned to each other and John Winchester somehow managed to survive their united glares.
“Would you stop that?” Sam snapped and Gabriel looked up, blinking innocently. The effect was totally lost on his partner, still dutifully observing the building across the street through the goggles.
They were both sitting on the roof of a hotel, the sun pleasantly shining down on them. Sam was sitting straight, careful and cautious, Observing their target and occasionally making notes in the journal laying beside him. Gabriel was lying not far behind him, propped against a wall with a drink in his hand, that he was occasionally cooling it with his arctic breath. He was useless like always with jobs requiring patience and concentration, but besides that he was completely innocent. Well, to be honest, he was also checking Sam’s ass, enjoying the perks of x-ray vision, but it’s not like the Winchester could actually know that.
“I’m serious, quit it,” Sam repeated, not even glancing back. “You didn’t get powers to use them to do something stupid. How about you try being useful for once?”
Gabriel snorted.
“I didn’t ‘get’ them, you moralistic psycho. I was just born awesome.”
“Yeah, so use your awesomeness to make the world a better place, instead of staring at me and planning ridiculous pranks.”
Gabriel shook his head slightly. Sam could be so smart and so stupidly oblivious at the same time.
“Aw, but what use would x-ray vision be if I couldn’t ogle people from time to time?”
That finally made the Winchester look back. He glared at his partner, affronted, and Gabriel wiggled his eyebrows in reply. Quicker than he could blink, Sam lengthened his hand and swat Gabriel on the head.
“Hey!” the older man protested. “Aren't you supposed to use your powers for good?"
“I just did,” Sam muttered in response, but went back to his work. He glanced at the opposite building again, then started grabbing his things. “Get your lazy ass up, he's finally moving we need to follow him.”
“Yes, sir!” Gabriel mocked, saluting him stiffly and moving to the edge of the roof and to fall of off it in a graceful arch. Already flying he yelled, pretty much breaking theirs cover: “Meet you by the car!”
“Stupid, reckless, ridiculous showoff,” Sam kept on mutterin, walking down the stairs leading to the main corridor and the elevators. “Moronic, imbecilic, irresponsible…”
He pushed the button with too much force and shifted his hold on the bag grinding into his arm.
“Incompetent, childish, egocent-” Sam's list was interrupted by his own muffled yell.
He fought against the bag that someone put over his head, but strong arms were holding him tightly. Sam had a distinct feeling that if his bones hadn't been so bendy, his ribs would have snapped by now. He tried concentrating enough to slide out of the grip, but the huge guy holding him was changing his grip too quickly, moving him from side to side, making his head spin and killing all chances to concentrate. Doing everything to stop Sam from using his powers. Obviously this guy was not only build like a King Kong, he was also well trained.
Sam stopped struggling as another guy grabbed his legs, lifting him up. He breathed harshly through the smelly bag, trying to think of some way to get out of this mess. They carried him to one of the suites further down the corridor and finally threw him into something. Sam could feel plastic underneath him and heard some weird echo of the sounds he made. He quickly pulled the bag off, just in time to see the cage made out of thick plastic being closed above him. He gasped, tossing around in a panicked rage. The cage was absolutely secure. There was no way of escaping it. And no way for the air to come in. Sam’s breath quickened in panic even as his reason yelled loudly to calm down or he wouldn't get the chance to ever get out. Slow breaths would last for longer. How long? Long enough? Sam could feel the panic creeping in his thoughts. His whole life he could always get out of all kind of traps; either sliding out of them or shaping his fingers to open the locks. And since he could remember he always feared the mare idea of the cage he wouldn’t be able to leave. And in this moment he clearly realized that the cage he was in was made for him… But how could they know?!
“Hello, Sam,” someone said calmly, his voice sounding muffled and with a weird echo.
Sam looked up, startled, and met Lucifer’s gaze. The Winchester’s eyes widened and the other man smiled, obviously pleased with this the reaction. Sam gulped, his breath quickening in panic again. He was so fucked.

Somewhere around tenth floor Gabriel suddenly stopped and flew up to the windows he just passed. A cute blond girl was jumping around in her underwear, singing into her hairbrush. Gabriel chuckled quietly and floated in the air, enjoying the show. After all, girls who were parading before windows were secretly begging for some audience, and who was Gabriel to say no to them?
Finally the girl spotted him and with a blush ducked behind the couch. Gabriel sighed, of course he had to meet the shy one. Shy ones were actually more fun, Gabriel noticed, but they also took way more time. And Sam was probably already waiting in the car ready to rant. Speeding up with every feet, Gabriel stopped by the car just after a few more seconds. He frowned when he saw that Sam was still wasn't there.
It was weird, and the superhero had a bad feeling about it. Finally he leaned against their rental and decided to give the kid another five minutes. After that, he would change his partner label to 'damsel in distress'.

Sam was panicking and he knew it. Still, it didn’t help him calm down. He was lying flat on the surface of his cage, gasping for air. Rationally he knew there was still enough air for some time, but panic didn’t listen to reason. He could could have sworn his lungs were hurting from trying to breathe the air that wasn't there.
He heard muffled voices and then the sound of something being thrown around. He paid no attention to it until someone was fighting to open his cage and calling his name. Sam sprung free as soon as the cover of the cage was barely lifted. He wrapped his hands and legs around the person who was saving him, making them fall back onto the floor. Sam’s limbs lengthened even more, to wrap securely around his savior.
“Shhh, kiddo. I’ve got you. I called the others, they will be here to take care of the fuckers who got you. Shhh, Sammy, shhh.”
Sam finally recognized Gabriel’s soothing voice and snuggled closer, his face pressing against the other man’s neck, breathing in his smell. The smell of Gabriel made Sam think 'safe', and Sam needed 'safe' now. He could feel the older man’s grip tightening around him and finally Gabriel stood up, lifting them both with his superhuman strength.
“Okay, kiddo. We’re leaving this mess for our brothers to clean. We’re leaving.”
Sam whimpered, still scared and Gabriel held him closer, ribs reshaping under the pressure. The Winchester sighed happily.
Soon they were flying and the air hit Sam’s already making him feel slightly better. It probably wasn’t the cleanest breath of air he ever had, but it was fresh, it flied them through the city to land gracefully on his own roof. A long time ago he had turned his roof into something that looked more like a perfect patio in a garden than just a roof.; he spent too much time there not to make it pretty. Gabriel simply hated being surrounded by ugly things.
Sam looked around, still not letting go of the other man even as he sat them both down on the chair. Winchester quickly recognized the place they were in and he relaxed further, still enjoying the comfort of the hold too much to let Gabriel go. Instead, he again hid his face in the man’s neck and breathed in his smell. His lips were cold from the wind. He pressed them against Gabriel’s hot skin in a kiss. He sighed contently and ignoring Gabriel’s surprised gasp, he pressed another kiss against his neck, then quickly darting his tongue out for a taste.
There was a hand on his neck moving his head away and Sam looked into Gabriel’s eyes. Meeting the older man’s intense gaze with blown pupils and quickened breath. The hand tightened its hold on Sam’s neck and brought him closer with superhuman strength. Gabriel crashed his lips against Sam's in a heated kiss, much stronger and powerful than all of Sam’s attempts. The Winchester moaned at the feeling of Gabriel’s tongue exploring his mouth as if he owned it and nothing could ever stop him from doing so. Sam could only keep his hold around the other man and open up for the kiss, moaning loudly deep in his throat.
Finally, Gabriel’s hand that never moved from Sam’s neck, gripped him tighter again and pulled him away. It slid higher to play with the Winchester’s hair, as if petting him. Soothing him.
“Once you calm down, we'll continue. And you’re not getting out of this, Sammy-boy.”
Gabriel held him tighter, his other hand going around Sam and pressing him to his chest. Sam slowly closed his eyes, relaxing while the hand was still playing with his hair.
“It’s Sam,” he finally mumbled and he could feel Gabriel chuckle.
