I still feel like shit. I made it through class, though, and that's what matters. I'm going home tomorrow and maybe I'll sleep some while I'm there.

I have a paper conference with Dr. K. in 2 1/2 hours to discuss my paper topic, but I don't have one yet. Luckily, I'm the third person to meet with him, so there's not a whole lot of chance of someone picking my topic first. I like reading Tom Paine, so maybe something about that? Ok. Lucky asked me at breakfast if I really wanted to play baritone. The answer is no. She said she'd told Dolores not to push me, and said I could move to mellophone or sax instead, but she'd rather me just stay because I've already switched. I went to my first band practice tonight. It was cool- I mean, the whole "fall in and march even though you've never marched before" thing was interesting, but I picked it up.
