I don't think anyone knows how hard this is for me... Yipes!

But here: an A/O drabble I worked on in class all morning. It could be AU or not, but it's Alex as a pianist and Olivia is Olivia. Well, shy about posting fanfic. :) Shy is, you are correct, not the first word I would apply to you in most circumstances.

Actually, fanfic was not the thing- this is the first fanfic I've ever written, and like I said, it started out original. Only I guess I'm better at short stuff, so it was easier to make it an AU drabble and then I didn't have to go anywhere besides that scene. Maybe I should try some of the challenges and see if anything's good enough to let people read.

Songbird, sweetie, i think most of us know how hard it is for you. Hell, i post all my fic on a superanonymous second livejournal, that's how not-share-y i am. My dear friend Timmy came up with the perfect metaphor once - letting someone else read your writing is a lot like masturbating in front of someone. So go you for sharing.

For the record, very elegant, by the way. Much like Alex herself. Which is a neat trick. ::applauds you::

I still can't get over the fact that people like it. And now, because I'm such an attention whore, I'm going to have to try writing more. And I still have another version that's a bit smuttier (and sappier) that I want to post to a challenge sometime.
