Even if people know Korean stuff we still kind of look like maniacs, no judgement kekeke. Karaoke screens are ridiculous and never have anything to do with the song being played (at least most of the time). BUT LEE SEUNGGI he always makes me laugh at him, though I think for different reasons than he intends. OMG don't even try to explain fanfiction to people outside of fandom, it cannot be done or if it can then that person is like *secret judgment*. Even my best friend who likes a lot of anime/manga and everything was like... fanfiction? Really? Oh and once I tried to explain what a meme was to my mother LMAO omg that conversation needed to go down in history.

Why haven't you posted any? You should post some! What kinds of fics? Which fandom? Which pairing??? Actually there is this one manga that I read a long time ago that I got too involved with and then finally the main guy confessed he was in love with the other dude who had stopped seeing him bc he loved him and he didn't think the main guy loved him back and THEN THE CHAPTER ENDED AND IT IS IS ON HIATUS. LIKE I EXPECT THIS FROM FANFIC NOT PROFESSIONAL MANGAKAS. ;____; tears forever

Yeah, fanfiction tends to be totally weird for people outside of fandom. The friend whom we explained fanfiction to (it was successful, though I'm not sure he understood it completely), he was all "SO YOU WRITE FICTIONAL STORIES ABOUT PEOPLE IN BOY BANDS BEING GAY?" and I was like OH GOD PLEASE DON'T SAY THAT SO LOUDLY. And omg, anime/manga! That's the whole reason I got into fanfiction in the first place! You like manga too? We should totally contact each other outside of LJ!

Ah, but that story reminds me of a manga that I got really involved in, and then it was put on hiatus because the mangaka died. I was like ;;__________;; this is not the kind of sadness I need in my life.

I haven't posted any because I'm so lazy they're so bad. Um, well, I have one that I just wrote that's for the EXO fandom, pairing is Lay/Luhan. LAYHAN FOREVER :DDDDD I really want to write for the Block B fandom, but I have no ideas, haha.

I heard Reply 1997 is really good but I am still trying to watch Goong but also like anything with that kid from I Miss You without watching I Miss You because the premise depresses me and also finish erm... all the ten million other dramas that I started to watch and then got lazy. Dude that is my life so much just... always.

I used to download Naruto a loooong time ago and even bought some of the translations and then it got to be like 50 volumes and I was like look I don't have that much money I am a poor student and then I stopped for a while and couldn't remember my place and everyone was dying so I was like check y'all later~ Yeah I read short mangas, too ;__; way easier. Where do you read them?

Ah, yeah. It's sort of sad, too, I think, and it's like really different from what I usually read, which is like shamelessly romantic sappy stuff, but with pretty illustrations. (My manga tastes are so shallow, I just want good art.)

LOL WHO ARE YOU. I try really hard to run away from angst because ugh yes stress, do not like. It makes me all sad afterwards and ughh but I guess if I feel sad and then I read angst and get all emotional it kind of helps me feel better? Like, somehow I just got through it?

Oh it was SO long ago that I got Naruto and then I basically discovered scanlation and it was like goodbye to paper~ Hahaha man Naruto was ALWAYS training that could literally be any point in the story. One day I might go back and finish it (when it is done being written) but I don't really care anymore LMAO although SasuNaru was my original OTP so I kind of want to know what happens to them.

Manhwas, or at least the ones that I've read, tend to be really sad. But that's what everyone gets into manga for! If I don't like the art then I can't read it, no matter how good the storyline is. Even if it's considered good art, and I don't like it, I just can't. ;A; what do you normally read?

OMG INDEED. Yeah, one of the only reasons I read so much angst is because fluff all the time is sorta insubstantial, and I like things with substance, and the only thing that tends to have much substance is angst, unfortunately. IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ELSE WITH SUBSTANCE I WILL GLADLY READ IT. And my OTP is always written with angst, all the time. WAE. But yeah, I agree with you on the sad and emotional feels bit~

Yes, totally. For a (sort of) crack medium, manga can be surprisingly super deep and introspective sometimes. And yes, I love pretty manga~ Pretty much same here. Although I did read a like really old manga that had sort of bad-ish art but the stories were fresh and I liked it.

Ah yeah. Well, currently I'm reading Horimiya (I think that's what it's called, I always get the name mixed up) and some other like crack mangas, I think. I'll tell you when I remember >< but right now I'm spending like all my time on Tumblr.

My fic is read and edited, although I've sent it to someone to read over again~ (I should probably be spending less time on the Internet, haha, considering finals for me are like next week. gah.)

I think slice of life fics are more interesting but they're hard to find. Imma try to write some, though... That's true! I really like mangas that have a deep or sort of introspective feel to them, since it's a great way to combine a picture of real life and also good writing? I mean, idk how to say this, but it can be really hard to be introspective whilst only writing-- it can make people sound really stuck up sometimes, or it can be just really boring to read. Sumomo Yumeka is really good, though.

Idk but I remember the Jiraiya and paper thing so that must be farther ahead in the series, yeah. It's so easy to give up in Naruto. Cow-octopus is like the fox for Naruto (I don't remember what they're called anymore) and I think it's supposed to be a cow/bull but I always think it's an octopus because it has eight tails. Yeah idk it's weird and I'm not sure I want to remember either.
