Home, sweet home.

I knew I was getting dirty looks for not having had a car to transport them a certain Queen C from the airport to here. Even if the walk wasn't long, I guess she just didn't like having to have walked. I had accidently forgotten the bus with the whole passing out and walking up to your second undead-undead...er, lover, and dealing with Faith, to ( Read more... )

"Buffster? She-who-slays-alot? What ya doing home?" I asked with a grin walking in from the back. My hands were clasped together as I walked closer to Buffy. I eyed her companions I could easily say that I wasn't really eager to see Angel, we had never really gotten along. And Cordelia wasn't really a plesant sight either.

"Well class welcome home, the bathroom's just back through that door, doesn't flush, the roaches don't bite, and if you try really hard you don't notice the leak. And as you can plainly see, out interior decorator is on strike." I laughed slightly. Apparently no one else found it very funny.

I looked ot Buffy, she always seemed so tired. Ever since the move, the slayerettes, I hadn't seen her sleep in days. "Buff, I think the rest is self explanitory, hopr about some quality R&R?" I put my arm around her shoulders, and hugged her in a friendly gesture.

"That be me, Xander." Turning towards him, I pushed off from the door and closed the distance between him and me. I knew he wasn't thrilled about seeing Cordelia...and Angel, and that was probably about it. But, we had to make room as would have been done for us, I'm sure. Besides, us hero types, we have to stick together ( ... )

She looked so exhausted. "Isn't that why there's a pitter patter of little slayerette feet all around. They can do the slaying. You, young lady..." I said with a smile. "Have an appointment with a bubble bath." I guided her gently around the maze of run down couches and three legged coffee table.

"Well guys it's been great, have fun call the front desk if you need anything." I clasped my hands together smiled weakly and tried to leave before I got too uncomfortable. "Me and the Buffy here are just gonna scoot.."

The apartment complex wasn’t much. It was old and somewhat broken down. It hadn’t been used in a long time save maybe for some drunken bums and stray dogs. The place just looked unlivable. But then again, so did the Hyperion before we cleaned it up and Cordy gave it a decorative touch. In due time, I knew Buffy would put her own mark on this place. She was always good with the fashion and decorating… I think ( ... )

I had dozed off in the time that I had finally set my lap top down, and my weary body had fallen into a rythmic breathing that almost left me in a deep REM of sleep, the dreams were just getting to the ehem saucy parts and I couldn't have woken up at a better time. I had caught myself talking in my sleep, it was a lazy drawl, but still not good to have a slayer pic up on the witch sleeping and dreaming of her dead lover ( ... )

As ever, Xander was persistent and actually right. We did have all the girls, but that still didn't make me one hundred percent confident in them. Most of them came after the once pending doom at Sunnydale. Never having been much into the battle field to earn the trust from me. So, it was only natural I was leary about letting them go out. Group or no group. "A bubble bath?" I'll admit, the thought made me tingle. I could definitely use some of the cleansing a bath could do. I hadn't showered in two days tops. I was sure I wasn't exactly smelling like my usual vanilla scented self. More like dumpster scented. With my thoughts and with me trying to smell myself discretly, I felt my feet moving and Xander ushering me away from Angel, who was still talking to me, and the others ( ... )

I heard it that slick, sly, seemingly sexy voice, and his cool calm attitude towards Buffy. “ Well if you’re gonna go patrol, I could come with. You know, back you up… like old times ( ... )

Okay, now protective Xander was acting more like Giles-y Xander. Which by the way, is really weird and creepy. But for now, part of me, an itty part of me that was fueding with the other part of me, that...okay, way too much thought into all this. Anyhow, I felt guilty and not so guilty over liking the fact that Xander put his foot down and said, demandingly, that Angel just wasn't going to go with. That left room and time for me to see Spike. Alone ( ... )

Grateful I was to be out of that airport. So many people milling about that it was hard to miss those that'd missed a bath or two, possibly three. Sometimes having these great senses was not such a good thing when someones BO smacked you dead in the face and hard. The trip to the slayers place was uneventful for the most part. Though the unease was thick in the air enough to make me uncomfortable and already start silently thinking of ways to get out of this group togetherness once we reached our destination. I grabbed my bag and as per usual lagged behind the others, I was in no rush to get inside and be cramped together all over again. Instead, I studied my surroundings, a cold chill wrapped its way down my spine like tiny skeletal fingers had danced upon each vertebra. Yep, theres evil here alright and plenty to go around. Hefting my duffle bag back over my shoulder, I strolled into the room where the others stood around waiting for something. Glancing up the stairs as a red headed girl appeared, I remember her, thats Willow. It ( ... )

And the oddness continues... disclaimer_gal April 11 2005, 17:56:02 UTC
Okay so not much has changed since the last time we were all together for a good guys versus evil. Well ok we never really had the whole Scoobies and Fangettes together, but still as awkward as it was, it was nice to have back up once again. I wanted to stay quiet and wait to see if the conversation between Buffy and Angel was over, usually you could cut the tension with a knife but tonight, it was different. Way different ( ... )

I gave a sigh. Angel and Buffy were continuing with the oogle fest until Xander and her left and now, we were faced with Willow. Great, a Sunnydale reunion.

It wasn't that I didn't like them. I could tolerate them. But they didn't like me because I didn't fit in with their whole little circle. At least, I didn't before. Oh. And I was a bitch to them too, but then again I was like that to everyone.

But now, I think I've changed and I think I was more like them then they realized. Hello, half-demony vision gal here.

"Ready as we'll ever be." I managed to mutter to Willow, offering her a half smile. "I need a place to drop the bags and then, I need to .. go out. Or something. I'm not ready to sit in a room and stare at four walls after spending the past what felt like ever on the plane."

A little confusion when you meet people you have never met before comes easier than it looks. I had remembered meeting Willow so it wasn't all that bad but still confusing for the others such as Xander. Although I had heard plenty about Buffy but hardly any about the others. I would of thought Cordelia would have clued me in on the ones I haven't met but being brought back from a Coma I could understand why. Although I kept to myself as both Connor and Cordy kept talking between the group I didn't think I was the only one. Angel also seemed to keep to himself which made things seem semi-normal ( ... )

I heard them all. Couldn't help not to. They were all so fucking rudely loud. I could hear the emotions riding under their tones. Was pretty damned funny if you ask me. Then again, all of this would be hysterical in the end. To everyone that was me, of course.

So, as Buffy left Willow like the lamb to the slaughter, I decided to step up and be of some service. Worm my way into the little reunion and right up besides the redhaired witch. "Willow," I said politely, smiling at the older woman and then to our their guests. "Need some help? I overheard Buffy and Xander leave this all up to you and since Giles has his face crammed into some texts, I might as well make myself more useful than the others." Others being the lazy little shit fucks that were doing each others hair or the devil only knew what, with one another. Immature little imbeciles, they were.

Heart Attack here I come... disclaimer_gal April 18 2005, 06:20:07 UTC
I could feel the energy rolling off of each individual, it's not like we all weren't on pins and needles as it was, lets just add a little more to this shall we? "Uhh sure." I gave a soft smile to the brunette, she wasn't all that bad. Just a little well old her was bad, bad news meant lots of teasing, but maybe now, now that she was different she wouldn't be so down on me ( ... )

Wow. Guess Willow was easy to scare, which said nothing for all she's seen and done personally. That, or she wasn't very comfortable in this little situation. Forcing a wide smile, one I pulled off just as well, I nodded.

"Of course. Here to help, I am." And I was. For now. I had places to be. Demons to be conjuring...summoning...calling, whatever. Now with all these extras around, they'd be the added bird to two birds down with one stone.

Gee, wouldn't the bosses just love this?

"Alright, if you all would like to come with me, I'll take you to your rooms." Wonder if anyone would even follow? Flashing another toothy grin at Willow, I gestured with my thumb for the guys to follow. Mainly looking at Connor. "You can just crash your stuff and if you'd want, I can show you around the place. Outside that is. Inside there isn't much to see. Other than four walls and some lounging Slayers."
